Without this purity of heart defining our every relationship how can we have true unity? It makes us more aligned with worldly forces that are always in a state of change. What is my role in the new birth? In listening to this sermon by John Piper you come to some very foundational truths including the place we have in our own salvation. And also the place that the bible has. In knowing the relationships between God man and the Word of God we can determine steps that are not as obvious as people think. This sermon was allot for me to grapple with. Our Faith in Christ leads to the love of our neighbor (1st and 2nd commandment) The renewing of our mind in the Word of God is the instrument of our new birth making our faith begin the living process.
